Track Tec Group again at the 2018 INNOTRANS fair

Once again, Track Tec Group will exhibit at the 2018 INNOTRANS fair in Berlin. Apart from its spectacular fair stand, the Group will also present its state-of-the-art Smart Railway Turnout by Track Tec, available at the outdoor exhibition in front of Hall 26.

As in previous years, Track Tec Group invites everyone to visit its stand, equipped with several conference rooms for business talks, located in Hall 26 (No. 242). In the meantime, the previously awarded (e.g. at the 2017 TRAKO fair) Smart Railway Turnout by Track Tec will be displayed outside Hall 26.

For many years, Track Tec has been consistently working on innovative projects which, when implemented, contribute to the development of railway transport. The R500 1:12 turnout integrated with the electro hydraulic Alstom SmartDrive (HyDrive) was the solution presented at the 2018 Innotrans fair. The drive connected to a universal interface not only carries out turnout and drive diagnostics but is also compatible, in principle, with any control system. The interface was developed in cooperation with MONAT. The turnout is equipped with induction heating prepared together with AREX from WB Electronics Group. The innovative induction heating system, used in the Track Tec turnout displayed at the fair, allows for faster heating of movable parts of the turnout, only in places where it is necessary. The solution is protected by the European patent. Furthermore, the product uses a Company's original idea – TRACKROLL switch point rollers integrated with a slide plate.

The turnout is designed for the speed up to 250 km/h. The turnout with Alstom SmartDrive with R1200 radius is currently undergoing performance tests at the Psary train station of the Central Rail Line.

The comprehensive character of Track Tec Group’s offer allows for delivering turnouts in blocks, directly to the installation site, which is made possible thanks to the specialized Turnout Installation Train.

At Track Tec Group, we consistently work on adjusting our offer to the industry’s needs. For this reason, at such an important event as the INNOTRANS fair in Berlin, we decided to present innovative solutions which reflect our contribution to the development of railway transport and – most importantly – make the railway infrastructure significantly safer in operation – said Jarosław Pawluk, PhD, Eng., the President of the Management Board of Track Tec Group.

The International InnoTrans Fair, this year held on 18-23 September, is the major railway transport fair in the world. The event hosts all key representatives of the industry. The INNOTRANS fair, taking place at Messe Berlin, stands for nearly 112 m² of exhibition area, about 3,000 exhibitors from 60 countries and over 137 thousand visitors.
