Track Tec streamlines railroad track repairs

In order to meet market needs, the Track Tec Group has implemented a complex logistics process related to the repairing and modernising of railroad tracks. By shortening the time of a track’s exclusion from exploitation, the company has made a substantial contribution to the minimising of disruptions to passenger and freight railroad transport.

Since June 2011, the Track Tec Group has been providing comprehensive services to its business partners: from loading pre-stressed concrete sleepers produced by the company onto special carriages, through freighting, to shunting on construction sites. Work is organised in such a way that a sleeper can be fed to a laying machine directly from a carriage parked on a track that is being renovated. It should be noted that with such a solution, i.e. a logistic chain provided by a single company, Track Tec helps to reduce any track renovation and modernisation costs (shorter repair time, no need to store materials, one company accountable for a complete logistic process).

“The pro-effectiveness solutions that have been implemented in the Track Tec Group companies are the best confirmation of our persistence in building competitive advantages on the foundation of the quality of our products and services, both as regards the manufacturing process as well as collaboration with our business partners. Our priority is to provide top-notch services that will enable our company to constantly expand its business partner portfolio and increase its chance of a larger market share. We want to become the leader in innovative solutions for railway infrastructure”, said Jarosław Pawluk, President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.

The new quality of the logistic process granted Track Tec a recent success in the repair of the line No. 356, from Sława Wielkopolska to Wągrowiec. At present the company is supplying materials to lines No. E-65, the Iłowo station, and line No. 64, the Kozłów-Psary station.
