Track Tec at RailwayTech Indonesia 2022

Track Tec Group, a leading European manufacturer of track superstructure materials, is taking part in RailwayTech Indonesia 2022 – the most significant railway fair in the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The event’s organizer is MASKA (Indonesian Railway Society), and its partners are the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Industry of Indonesia.

This year’s RailwayTech Indonesia takes place on October 19-21 in Jakarta. The event is an international B2B and B2C trade exhibition where new technologies, equipment and services for OEMs and for the aftermarket are presented. Among 250 exhibitors, there are representatives of 25 countries, whose products are to be seen by over 15,000 visitors.

"Presence at international industry events is an integral part of our activity as a globally operating company. We see a special development opportunity in Asian countries, whose transport needs are constantly growing, which affects the pace and scope of rail investments in this region. We believe that the discussions held during the fair and the exchange of knowledge and experience will result in innovative projects and expansion of international cooperation," says Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.

Track Tec Group has experience in delivering projects in the Asian market, where the demand for fast and effective rail transport is increasing. Indonesia, like Pakistan and Malaysia, is a country whose government has consistently emphasized the importance of integrating urban transport systems with spatial planning. Ensuring intermodal connectivity can significantly reduce congestion in large cities, especially in Jakarta and in the provincial capitals Surabaya, Medan, Bandung, and in their surrounding areas. To this end, the Indonesian Central Government approved Greater Jakarta infrastructure projects worth Rp 571 trillion (US$ 40.12 billion).
