Track Tec Group with Gold Patronage of the Railway Congress

Track Tec Group has become Gold Patron of the 11th Railway Congress, the largest business meeting dedicated to the railway industry in Poland. The event attracted more than 800 participants and 70 speakers, who discussed the future of railways for more than 12 hours.

This year’s congress focused on the situation of the rail industry in the face of the next pandemic wave, railway investment plans, hydrogen technology in the railways industry, as well as energy efficiency and challenges for freight transport and regional railways.

“It is a great pleasure for Track Tec Group to participate in events that bring together and contribute to development of the transport industry. We strive to support such initiatives and that is why we have decided to become again the Patron of the Railway Congress. We believe that discussions with experts allow us to gain new, fresh insights, and the mutual exchange of experiences makes our activities better and more efficient,” says Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.

The programme of the Railway Congress included a debate on “Rail infrastructure. Current state, investment plans, challenges”, in which one of the panellists was Marita Szustak, President of the Board and Commercial Director of Track Tec Construction. During the discussion with specialists from the transport industry, the impact of the pandemic on the implementation of infrastructure contracts, challenges related to the prices of construction materials and delays in EU programmes were discussed.

The Railway Congress was organised by Zespół Doradców Gospodarczych TOR (TOR Transport Consultants Group), Railway Business Forum and the monthly magazine Rynek Kolejowy (Railway Market), which provided a live broadcast of the event on its website.
