Track Tec Group among EEC Trends experts

Track Tec Group provided specialist support during the first edition of the EEC Trends conference which replaced the We Change Polish Industry Forum. Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice-President of the Board at Track Tec, gave a presentation at the MOVE panel dedicated to the future of transport and logistics system in Poland. The idea of an open debate about the future of the economy remains relevant, and so does the intention to support the positive transformation of its key branches.

Changing the name to EEC Trends reflects its direct links to the European Economic Congress (EEC), the largest event of this type in Central Europe. The EEC agenda took its final form during EEC Trends. Entrepreneurs, experts and decision-makers jointly identified major ideas, trends, action models and technologies. Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice-President of the Board at Track Tec, also shared his observations.

'The idea behind the EEC Trends is particularly close to us because, as an international group, we follow and react to current market trends. We are glad that we can contribute to shaping the future of the Polish, European and global economy by taking part in inspiring panels. The MOVE panel which I attended looks ahead as far as 2050,' said Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice-President of the Board, Track Tec S.A.

The topics presented at the MOVE panel covered the future issues of the transport and logistics system in Poland. Discussions focused on development implementations, plans and needs in the 2030 and 2050 perspective. Two mobility trends were also presented. E-mobility, hydrogen, hybrid solutions and new fuels were discussed as alternative fuel solutions. The panel was also attended by Jakub Kapturzak, Deputy Director of the Railway Infrastructure Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure; Jakub Majewski, President of the ProKolej Foundation; Tadeusz Sobotnik, Director of the Strategy Department at PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.; and Katarzyna Sobótka-Demianowska, Head of E-mobility at ABB Sp. z o.o.

The EEC Trends conference is an alternative to traditional forums and congresses. The event offers a spectrum of various dynamic forms – discussions, meetings, debates and presentations – targeting the different trends. There were more than 700 participants from Poland and abroad. Among them were representatives of business, politics, scientific community and public administration. The first edition took place on 25 February 2020 in Warsaw.
