Track Tec Group’s successes at TRAKO 2017

Extraordinary interest in the external exhibition, fruitful business talks at the fair stall and prestigious prizes that confirm the highest competence –Track Tec Group may consider its presence on the 12th TRAKO International Railway Fair as exceptionally successful.

“The interest shown in Track Tec’s offer during this year’s fair reinforced our
opinion that we are able to accurately read industry’s needs and respond to them effectively. Even a few hundred people visited our external exhibition every day. Many
of them took the opportunity to operate our turnout, which was our flagship product
at TRAKO. We see such significant input into the development of rail transport as a great honour, but also an obligation and motivation for constant growth – said Jarosław Pawluk, Sc.D., the President of Track Tec Group.

Exhibited by Track Tec outside of the fair halls, turnout R1200 1:18.5, which is integrated
with electro-hydraulic motor Alstom SmartDrive and fitted with induction heating, drew many experts who confirmed that it has potential for infrastructure managers. This pioneering solution was also recognised in the prestigious competition for The Józef Nowkuński Special Award in the INFRASTRUCTRE category.

Used in the exhibited Track Tec turnout, the innovative induction heating system enables to heat the moving parts of the turnout faster and only
where it is necessary. The solution is protected by a European patent. Also, the product uses Company’s own idea – TRACKROLL point rollers integrated with a sliding plate. Furthermore the comprehensiveness of the Group’s offer allows the turnout to be supplied in blocks directly to the construction site, thanks to the specialist Track Tec turnout installation train.

The TRAKO International Railway Fair is an event in which all major industry representatives take part. 30,000 sqm of exhibition space, 1,000 m of tracks for showcasing rolling stock, on-track machines and equipment are the best incentive for 700 exhibitors from 25 countries, but also for visitors from almost 50 countries.

“The scale of the undertaking allows the most important specialists and experts in the industry to be brought together. That is why we are even more pleased that during this year’s fair Track Tec Group has been successful
in so many fields” added Jarosław Pawluk.

The induction heating system also brought Track Tec Group the “Railway Market Locomotive 2017” award in the “Innovation” category. The innovative approach to business was also confirmed in the area of Company’s marketing policy – Track Tec won a prize in the 7th edition of the MediaKreator 2017 competition, organised by the editorial department of “Kurier Kolejowy” in the category of Design & Graphic creation.
