Track Tec Group delivered crossings to the world's largest iron ore mine

Track Tec Group has delivered crossings to the world's largest iron ore mine, located in the northern part of Sweden. Resistance to wear and tear higher than when using standard rail steel, which is guaranteed by the Company, will ensure long-term reliability of the products.

Crossings are one of the key elements which determine the correct functioning of a turnout, because this is where the rails cross. The units that Track Tec will supply to Sweden have been made from the highest quality steel, characterised by very high hardness, and will find use in heavy transport.

“Our products are known for their quality, which is recognized not only in Poland, but also on the most demanding international markets. That is why we are rapidly expanding our business, to successfully exploit market opportunities. This is a huge potential, which we utilise effectively” concluded Jarosław Pawluk, Sc.D., President of the Management Board of the Track Tec S.A. Group.

Earlier orders fulfilled by Track Tec in Sweden concerned: the supply of wooden sleepers to port towns of Ystad and Piteå as well as for the use on the “Inlandsbanan” railway line. On the Scandinavian market, the Company marked its presence also in Norway, where a total of 3,000 units of impregnated wooden sleepers made of pinewood were recently delivered.

Currently, Track Tec Group consists of eight European plants – in Poland, Germany
and Serbia. Three of them manufacture turnouts and their components, while five of them manufacture sleepers
as well as prestressed concrete and wooden switch sleepers. Track Tec Group has over 100 years of experience in railway turnout production.
