Track Tec as the main partner of Railway Worker’s Day

This year, Track Tec Group was the main partner of the Railway Workers’ Day celebrations. During the gala event, the most distinguished railway people were honoured with awards and national medals of merit.

On 11 November at the Grand Theatre – Polish National Opera in Warsaw, an official gala was held to celebrate the Railway Worker’s Day (25 November). Organised by PKP Group (Polish State Railways) and the Association of Railway Employers, the event brought together more than 500 railway people from all over Poland. The idea behind the gala was to recognise those who have most contributed to the development of rail transport in Poland with national medals of merits and special awards. Track Tec Group was the main partner of the gala.

“As a leading provider of rail solutions, our presence at events that nurture the long tradition of the Polish railway has exceptional symbolic value for us. It is a great pleasure for us to observe how the Polish railway transport sets world standards and develops over the years. On behalf of Track Tec Group I would like to congratulate all the awarded railway people and thank them for their hard work,” says Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice-President of Track Tec S.A.

During the event, people working in railways were conferred medals for: Merits to Polish Railway Transport, Long Service, Merits to Transport of the Republic of Poland, and Merits to the Railways. Among partners of the event were the Polish rail infrastructure operator PKP PLK, the Warsaw local railway carrier SKM (Szybka Kolej Miejska), the general contractor of railway and urban transport infrastructure ZUE and Silesian Railways (Koleje Śląskie).
