Track Tec has secured a new rail contract in Canada

Track Tec, a provider of turnkey solutions for rail infrastructure, has signed a contract to supply turnouts for the construction of an 11km light rail line between the cities of Mississauga and Brampton in Ontario, Canada.

“Another implementation in Canada shows that the Track Tec brand is steadily establishing itself in this market. It has become appreciated and, consequently, is being trusted by existing and new customers. Through further foreign contracts, the Track Tec Group is successfully implementing its long-term development strategy. The increase in the export of products is one of its main goals," says Jarosław Pawluk, President of Track Tec.

Track Tec has already had a presence in Canada since 2019, where it has been involved in the manufacture and delivery of all 55 turnouts for the Finch West LRT Project. The new development, which implements an 11-kilometre stretch of route between Mississauga and Brampton, in the Toronto metropolitan area, is part of a larger regional rapid transit network project. Track Tec also carried out contracts for Ottawa, as part of Phase II of the Confederation Line project.

Jarosław Pawluk points out that investments such as this one in Canada are of particular importance to Track Tec because they represent a continuity of supply for further rail investments in the country. In this way, the company consolidates its position in the market.

Track Tec has been present in the Canadian market for many years. Among other things, the group has been involved in the manufacture and delivery of all 55 turnouts for the Finch West LRT Project and the Ottawa order for Phase II of the Confederation Line project.
