Track Tec at the 5th International Science and Technology Conference
Track Tec Group was a strategic partner of the Science and Technology Conference in Bydgoszcz (Poland) entitled “Modern technologies in design, construction and maintenance of railway turnouts”. The programme included numerous lectures and expert presentations.
Track Tec S.A. supported the conference by contributing to its contents. Representatives of the Company’s Management Board delivered papers and lectures. Dr. Eng. Andrzej Cholewa, Board Member of Track Tec S.A., delivered a lecture entitled “Intelligent turnout and the concept of development”. A lecture entitled “Logistics of railway turnouts. Track Tec’s experience.” was delivered by Tomasz Balcerzak, Director of Track Tec Service. Dr. Eng. Jacek Paś, Director for Technology and Development at Track Tec Koltram, discussed the important topic “Analysis of dynamic interactions between the turnout and the propulsion system”. The speeches of Track Tec representatives were much anticipated by the participants of the scientific conference.
“New technologies drive everything we do. We believe that commitment to scientific activities will allow us to create better conditions for the railway sector in Poland, which is why we were happy to contribute to another edition of the Science and Technology Conference in Bydgoszcz,” said Andrzej Cholewa, Board Member of Track Tec S.A.
The goal of the conference was to present innovative technologies in design and production of railway turnouts. Invited guests, all of whom have close ties to the railway industry, had the opportunity to discuss the strategy for keeping the turnouts in peak technical condition, which guarantees the safety of railway traffic. The discussion also touched on the topics of recently achieved technical and technological advancements, company workers laying tracks and students of technological universities. The papers delivered by all conference participants will be published by the scientific and technological publishing house of the Polish Association of Engineers and Technicians of Transportation (SITK RP), as well as in its magazines.
This year’s edition of the conference was held on 17 May in Bydgoszcz. The event was organised by the National Board of the Polish Association of Engineers and Technicians of Transportation together with the Union of European Railway Engineering Associations (UEEIV).
