Track Tec supplies sleepers to Switzerland
The Track Tec Group has expanded its business to another country, Switzerland. Recently the Swiss partner received the first batch of pre-stressed concrete railroad sleepers for the local railway. This commission is an indication of more orders scheduled for this year.
As a result of the demand identified by Track Tec in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, a couple of months ago the Group launched the manufacture of the type B 70 sleepers. The products, which were supplied to Switzerland, had a specific 125 mm-wide foot and were meant to be installed in a very busy section of the Swiss railway network.
“The export of sleepers to Switzerland is yet another proof of the superior quality of our products and our ability to adapt our offer to the market requirements. As the Track Tec sleepers meet the most stringent requirements of the international standards, we can keep on expanding our business steadily”, said Jarosław Pawluk, President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.
Track Tec has its own specialist laboratory in Goczałków which provides the complete monitoring of the product quality and is one of the most modern laboratories in Europe. The products meet the technical specifications for interoperability (TSI) of railways. Not so long ago the products’ quality and personnel’s high qualifications were confirmed by an audit carried out by a globally recognised certification and research body, TÜV Rheinland.
