Track Tec awarded in the Top Investments of Eastern Poland competition
Track Tec Construction’s investment “Modernisation of the Lublin-Stalowa Wola railway line” was awarded in the prestigious Top Investments of Eastern Poland 2019 competition. The organizers recognized it as the most interesting, most progressive and most important investment for the residents of that region.
Each year, the Top Investments of Eastern Poland competition marks investments having an important impact on the region and its inhabitants. The competition accepted entries completed in 2018 or completed in 50% as of 30 June 2019 in the following voivodeships: Podlaskie, Lubelskie, Warmińsko-Mazurskie, Podkarpackie and Świętokrzyskie. Investments were evaluated mainly for their functionality, novelty and cooperation with the local community held at the stage of designing.
“Modernisation of the Lublin-Stalowa Wola railway line” directly contributes to improving accessibility of Eastern Poland in terms of railway infrastructure. Implementation of the Project was preceded by an analysis of the passenger transport needs, which revealed that the Project positively impacts the quality of life in communities along the routes under the Project. Moreover, it enhances the growth potential of the macro-region by improving transport accessibility, resulting in an increased competitiveness and innovativeness.
“The primary purpose of railway line maintenance is to provide safe conditions for train and passenger traffic. Our investment guarantee measures directly contributing to the safety of railway traffic by quickly eliminating hazards resulting from poor condition of the track surface or rail traffic control equipment,” said Stefan Dziedziula, Vice-President of the Management Board, Track Tec Construction Sp. z o.o.
The winners were selected by the editorial staff of portalsamorzadowy.pl backed by the Consultative Council. Awards in the 6th edition of the Top Investments of Eastern Poland 2019 were presented on 25 September at the Eastern Economic Congress at the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic – European Centre for Art in Białystok.
