Track Tec to take over the Serbian prestressed concrete sleeper plant in Svilajnac
Track Tec company announced today that it had taken over the prestressed sleeper plant from Track Experts doo, located in Svilajnac (Serbia). Track Experts doo is a joint subsidiary of Porr Bau GmbH and Maba Track Solutions GmbH.
According to the agreement, Track Tec purchased the manufacturing facility, which produces over 200 thousand prestressed concrete sleepers per year. The new investment will increase the company production capacity. This, in turn, will allow supplementing and expanding the company’s product portfolio and match it closely to the operated and new outbound channels.
The takeover of the Serbian facility strengthens Track Tec’s market position as an international supplier of prestressed concrete sleepers – concluded eng. Jarosław Pawluk, PhD, President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.
Track Tec is the leader in the production and supply of system solutions for railway infrastructure. The group produces nearly 1.5 million prestressed concrete sleepers a year. The takeover of the manufacturing plant in Svilajnac is a great reinforcement to the production facilities. Having taken over the entity, the Track Tec Group now comprises eight production plants.
