Track Tec: new destination, Romania
The Suwałki plant manufacturing pre-stressed concrete sleepers, a member of the Track Tec Group wholly owned by Jarosław Pawluk, begins selling to the Romanian market. The plant underwent an audit which confirmed that the products were compliant with the regulations applicable in the European Union and extra regulations imposed by Romania.
During the audit carried out by the Romanian authority in charge of railroad transport (AFER) the track superstructure elements produced at the Suwałki plant were tested for compliance with the European standards EN 13 230-1 and EN 13 230-2. Furthermore, the products were audited for their compliance with the internal regulations of the Romanian Railway (Căile Ferate Române).
“Our expansion to the European markets has become a fact. The audit which determined that our track superstructure elements could be marketed in Romania once again confirmed the superior quality of the products supplied by Track Tec”, said Jarosław Pawluk, President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.
