Crowds at Track Tec stand at TRAKO 2021 International Railway Fair
Spectacular new launches and presentations of the latest rail technology solutions attracted crowds of visitors to the TRAKO 2021 International Railway Fair in Gdańsk. Track Tec Group’s stand was one of the most popular ones. The leading European supplier of track superstructure materials participated in the event as an exhibitor, showing a number of innovations over the four days of the event.
One of the highlights was a demonstration of Track Tec’s new fastening systems using augmented reality (AR). At the Group’s elegant and functional stand, the visitors could also see an exhibit of Track Tec’s intelligent turnout system, as well as adaptive solutions consisting of different types of tension clamps designed for high-speed rail and for higher axle load freight trains.
“We are convinced that the rail industry will continue to develop over the coming years to meet the demands of the public as well as climate requirements, which is why we are particularly concerned with the quality of our products and the implementation of innovative solutions,” stresses Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.
The event included the premiere of the first Polish hydrogen locomotive and the presentation of the first European hydrogen train. The rich programme of events, consisting of numerous debates and conferences, attracted leading Polish companies from the railway and tramway industries, as well as the most important international companies.

Last year, due to the pandemic, the fair was cancelled, so we are all the more pleased that we once again have the opportunity to participate in this prestigious event, which provides a perfect opportunity for us to discuss our industry and to foster our business contacts and build new ones,” says Katarzyna Pawluk, Vice President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.
The TRAKO International Railway Fair is the largest and most prestigious meeting of the rail transport industry in Poland, and the second largest in Europe. This year’s fair was held on 21-24 September at the AMBEREXPO International Fair Exhibition and Congress Centre in Gdansk. It brought together almost 23,000 participants from 39 countries and more than 500 exhibitors from around the world.
