Olsztyn tram network fitted with Track Tec sleepers
Track Tec Group, a leading European manufacturer of railway infrastructure items, is finalizing its Olsztyn delivery of PST-11 and PST-12 sleepers with complete fitting, which will serve to renovate the city’s tram network. The contract covers about 15,000 sleepers.
The PST-11 and PST-12 sleepers designed by Track Tec specialists are specially developed structures for tram routes, meeting all the market standards and security requirements. The project is scheduled to be completed in the second half of 2015, when the inhabitants of Olsztyn will be able to turn back to this type of public transport. The capital of the Warmian-Mazurian voivodeship had been lined for tram network reconstruction from 1965.
