Track Tec Group with prestigious award for smart turnout
Józef Nowkuński Competition is an industry initiative appreciated by both Polish and foreign innovators in the railway industry. The award granted to Track Tec Group at this year’s TRAKO International Railway Fair for the smart turnout confirms not only of the highest competences of Track Tec experts, but above all the ability of the Company's management to respond to the dynamically changing market needs.
In Józef Nowkuński Competition, Track Tec was recognised for its pioneering solution on a global scale, which shows a huge saving potential for infrastructure managers. The innovative induction heating system used in the smart turnout enables to heat the moving parts of the turnout significantly faster and only where it is necessary. The solution is protected by a European patent. Due to its versatility, it can be used in any configuration of the turnout which Track Tec Group may deliver in blocks directly to the construction site, thanks to a specialist turnout installation train.

TRAKO International Railway Fair is the largest railway event of its kind in Poland and the second largest in Europe after InnoTrans fair in Berlin. The aim of the event is to present the current state of the art in terms of transport systems and railway infrastructure, both in Poland and worldwide.
