Track Tec Construction, a Track Tec Group company, received the Ernest Malinowski Award (“ERNEST”) from the Association of Engineers and Technicians of Communication of the Republic of Poland (SITK RP) on the occasion of the company’s 10th anniversary and in recognition of its contributions to SITK RP. The award was presented during the opening of the 24th Scientific and Technical Conference “Modern Technologies and Management Systems in Rail Transport” (NOVKOL’25), held on 3–5 December in Zakopane. The event was organized by the Krakow branch of SITK RP.
Track Tec Construction is a dynamically developing company specializing in the comprehensive delivery of infrastructure projects in the railway, tramway, road, and energy sectors. Over its ten years of operation, the company has completed numerous strategic projects, strengthening its position as an industry leader. The ERNEST Award was received on behalf of the company by its President, Marita Szustak, during the opening of the NOVKOL’25 conference.
“We are extremely pleased with this distinction awarded to our company by an organization that brings together experts working in our industry. The company’s 10th anniversary is a moment when we can look back at what we have already achieved, but also an opportunity to build strategic development plans for the future. The ERNEST Award is an honour for us, but also a commitment to continuous growth and setting new, ambitious goals,” said Marita Szustak, President of Track Tec Construction.
Track Tec Construction’s most important projects include: the modernisation of the Lublin–Stalowa Wola Rozwadow railway line together with its electrification, which won the “Top Investment in Eastern Poland 2019” award; the power supply project for Katowice Airport in Pyrzowice, including the construction of 15 kV, 20 kV, and 110 kV cable lines and a Main Power Supply Point (GPZ) transformer station; and the revitalisation of the Tarnowskie Gory–Zawiercie railway line, which created a direct rail connection to Pyrzowice Airport. The latter investment received an award in the “Construction Project of the Year 2023” contest of the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians (PZITB).
In 2024, Track Tec Construction, as the general contractor, again received the “Construction Project of the Year 2024” award for the expansion of the siding at the container terminal for Schavemaker Invest in Katy Wroclawskie. The company consistently strives to implement innovative solutions and continuously raise standards, which confirms its strong commitment to the development of modern rail transport.
The ERNEST Award – named after one of the most outstanding Polish road and railway engineers, Ernest Malinowski, the famed builder of the highest-located railway line in the world – is one of the most prestigious distinctions in the Polish railway industry.
