Track Tec again as Partner at EEC Trends

Representatives of Track Tec Group, a leading international supplier of system solutions for rail infrastructure, participated in the 7th edition of EEC Trends held on 9th February in Warsaw. The event serves as a forum for debate on the key challenges and new economic trends, which will set the main directions for the three-day discussions in Katowice during the 18th European Economic Congress to be held in April. Track Tec was once again a Partner of the conference organized by PTWP Group.

During the EEC Trends 2026, Krzysztof Niemiec, the Vice President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A., participated in the panel “Large Infrastructure Projects”, where the biggest infrastructure investment projects for the coming years in the region – including roads, railways, and airports – were discussed, along with the opportunities presented by them for Polish contractors. The panel discussion was opened with a speech by Poland’s Minister of Infrastructure, Dariusz Klimczak.

Among the topics debated during the panel were record funds allocated for the development of railway infrastructure, including the first high-speed rail (HSR) lines in Poland – which are expected to reach a total of PLN 180 billion over the next 7 years – and whether, as a result, rail transport could become a real alternative to road transport. Participants emphasized the importance of simplifying and speeding up the decision-making process by state authorities to ensure the continuity of investment processes and the timely completion of strategic projects.

The 7th edition of EEC Trends was attended by business leaders, representatives of the administration, investors and analysts. During presentations, panels and discussions, participants addressed the most important topics for the upcoming year – from investment strategies and industrial transformation, to digitization, technological transformation, geopolitics, energy security, and new socio-economic development models. Key issues raised at the conference included innovation, artificial intelligence, and modern technologies.

EEC Trends 2026 brought together more than 1,000 participants who listened to 12 inspiring thematic sessions. The meeting is a prelude to the European Economic Congress (EEC), one of the most important events of this kind in Central Europe, with its 18th edition scheduled to take place from 22nd to 24th April in Katowice. EEC aims to create a place for an open debate on the state of the Polish and European economy, its opportunities, threats and possibilities. Both events are organized by the Polish media and event organizer PTWP Group.
