Track Tec as Diamond Partner at NOVKOL’25

Track Tec Group, a leading international supplier of railway superstructure materials, participated as a Diamond Partner in the 24th Scientific and Technical Conference “Modern Technologies and Management Systems in Rail Transport” (NOVKOL’25). The event was organized by the Krakow branch of the Association of Engineers and Technicians of Communication of the Republic of Poland (SITK RP), with Malopolska (Lesser Poland) Region and the City of Kraków serving as its main partners. The conference took place on 3–5 December at Nosalowy Dwor Resort & SPA in Zakopane.

Representatives of Track Tec Group took part in discussions on the future of Polish railways during eight thematic sessions and three discussion panels. Marita Szustak, President of the Management Board of Track Tec Construction and President of the Land Transport Chamber of Commerce, participated in the opening session of the three-day conference. In her presentation “Joint Initiatives of the Construction and Rail Freight Industries,” she spoke about the reform of the Railway Fund and the ‘Five Priorities for Rail Freight Transport’ initiative.

Additionally, on the first day of the conference, during Session I “Rail Transport: Opportunities and Risks” Krzysztof Niemiec, Vice President of Track Tec S.A., discussed the state of Poland’s railway infrastructure in his talk “Railways in Poland – Transport, Infrastructure, Investments.”

NOVKOL has for many years been one of the most important events in the railway industry calendar. The conference brings together representatives of academia, business, and public administration, creating a space for the exchange of experience between experts, decision-makers, and practitioners. The meeting in Zakopane is also an excellent opportunity to discuss the future of Polish railways and the challenges they will face in the coming decades.

The co-organizers of NOVKOL’25 were the Tadeusz Kosciuszko Krakow University of Technology, Polish State Railways PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., and the Malopolska (Lesser Poland) Regional Chamber of Civil Engineers in Krakow.
