Track Tec at Turnouts 2026 Conference

The Track Tec Group actively participated in the 7th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Modern Technologies in the Design, Construction and Maintenance of Railway Turnouts – Turnouts 2026”. Track Tec served as the General Partner of the event.

The conference was opened by Jacek Paś, PhD, Member of the Management Board of Track Tec Koltram and President of Association of Communication Engineers and Technicians of the Republic of Poland (SITK RP). The opening ceremony was also attended by Marita Szustak, President of the Management Board of Track Tec Construction and President of the Land Transport Chamber of Commerce (IGTL), as well as Rafał Bednarczyk, Vice-President of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A.

During the first day of the conference, Track Tec Construction and IGTL President Marita Szustak delivered a presentation on “The National Railway Programme – an Opportunity or a Trap for the Development of Competencies in High-Speed Rail Construction in Poland”. The presentation focused on the importance of strategic railway investments for developing the relevant competencies in the domestic market and strengthening the potential of the Polish infrastructure sector.

An important part of the conference programme was the panel discussion “Readiness of Manufacturing Plants for the Challenges of High-Speed Rail Construction in Poland”. The discussion was moderated by Marita Szustak, together with Track Tec Koltram Management Board Member and SITK RP President Jacek Paś. The panel addressed the challenges facing the domestic railway sector in the context of implementing high-speed rail projects, as well as building manufacturing and technological competencies in Poland. The Track Tec Group was represented by Track Tec S.A. Management Board Vice-President Rafał Bednarczyk, who presented the company’s experience and perspective on preparing production facilities for the implementation of high-speed rail investments.

On the second day of the conference, during the session “Railway Turnouts in Poland”, chaired by Andrzej Cholewa, PhD, Member of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A., a presentation “Before it breaks – Smart monitoring of railway turnouts” was delivered. The presenters were Przemysław Stanisławski and Piotr Piech from Track Tec Koltram together with Grzegorz Stolarek from Hitachi Rail GTS Polska. The presentation focused on modern solutions for intelligent turnout monitoring and the use of advanced diagnostic systems in railway infrastructure maintenance.

The Turnouts 2026 Conference, held on 7-8 May 2026, was dedicated to modern technologies in the design, construction and maintenance of railway turnouts, as well as the challenges related to the development of high-speed rail infrastructure. The event brought together representatives of the most important institutions, manufacturers, and experts from the railway industry.
