Track Tec Construction, a Track Tec Group company, received the 2nd Degree Award in the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians’ “Construction Project of the Year 2023” contest for the development of detailed designs and the execution of construction works as part of the modernization of railway line No. 182 on the Tarnowskie Góry – Zawiercie section.

The award confirms the reliability and quality of Track Tec Construction’s work, which contributed to the improvement of the railway infrastructure on this important section. The success of the project is due to an experienced team of specialists who successfully completed all stages of the modernization, meeting high technical requirements. As part of the reconstruction, platforms at stations and stops were modernized, tracks were replaced and bridges were renovated. This investment project is of key importance for improving passenger and freight connections between Silesia and Katowice-Pyrzowice Airport.

The “Construction Project of the Year” contest has been organized since 1989 by the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians (PZITB). Its aim is to recognize and promote the best construction projects that achieve exceptional results in the investment process.

The contest covers new, rebuilt, extended or converted buildings, which are evaluated at three stages.
