The Track Tec Group, a leading international supplier of track superstructure solutions, took part in the launch of the report “Poland–Romania. Economic and Investment Cooperation.” The meeting, held in Warsaw on February 26, was organized by the Polish–Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry – the author of the report. Track Tec is one of the partners of the publication.
Rafał Wróbel, a Member of the Management Board of Track Tec S.A., participated in the panel discussion “Polish investments in Romania – why Romania is a good place for Polish companies,” moderated by Jakub Roszkiewicz from Tax Partner, KPMG Poland.
The panel was part of an event organized around the publication of the report on economic cooperation between Poland and Romania—two key economies in Central and Eastern Europe. One of the areas of cooperation highlighted in the report is transport infrastructure, whose accelerated development is expected in the coming years with the support of European funds.
The Romanian market is one of the priority directions for Track Tec’s international expansion. It is a demanding market, but at the same time characterized by significant growth potential. Romania remains a natural direction for Polish companies, which—thanks to the experience gained during domestic infrastructure transformation—possess the competencies required to successfully implement modernization projects. In view of the substantial needs related to the development and modernization of transport infrastructure, the Track Tec Group assumes a long-term presence on the Romanian market and the implementation of investments over a multi-year horizon.
The report “Poland–Romania. Economic and Investment Cooperation” is the first original publication of the Polish–Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which has been bringing together Polish and Romanian companies since 2017. The publication was developed in cooperation with, among others, BGK, PKO Bank Polski, and KPMG Poland | KPMG Romania. As a member of the Chamber, Track Tec was one of the companies involved in preparing the report.
According to the authors, the aim of the report is to encourage Polish and Romanian representatives of business, central and local administration, as well as business support institutions, to take a closer look at the potential offered by cooperation between the two countries and to view the Polish-Romanian partnership through the lens of its development opportunities.
